On November 10, 2007, Master Quoc L. Tran hosted the first International Kongo Bugei Kai "International Mixed Martial Arts Association" Masters Circle - The Gathering 2007. The event was held at The Mission Church Gym in Paramus, New Jersey. Master Tran is the Continental Director of North America for the IKBK/IMMAA.
