On June 21st, 2008, Master Tran was inducted into the Latin-American Martial Arts Society Hall of Fame 2008 as "Grandmaster of the Year". The event was held at Embassy Suites Hotel & Cosino in Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico, USA.
On May 24th, 2008, Master Tran was inducted into the World Head of Family Sokeship Council International Hall of Fame as "Master Instructor of the Year". The awards banquet was held in San Antonio, Texas at the 4 star (AAA) Crowne Plaza Hotel.
