On August 22, 2009, Master Tran was inducted into the Pioneer Awards Banquet and received the "Pioneer Award", presented to him by Grandmaster Furman Marshall and Grandmaster Reginald A. Jackson, Sr.
On June 27, 2009 Master Tran was Inducted into the "World Karate Union Hall of Fame" - "Lifetime Achievement Award of Honor".
On June 6, 2009 Master Tran was officially inducted into the London International Hall of Fame in the category of "Grandmaster Award".
Master Tran was inducted into the International Martial Arts Times Magazine Hall of Fame 2009 "Who is Who of Martial Arts Hall of Fame " in three categories: Outstanding Leadership Award / Most Distinguished Grandmaster of the Year / Publisher of the Year "Combat Warrior E-magazine".
